Regional Sport Victoria and VicHealth to Continue Long-Standing Partnership
We’re so pleased to continue our long-standing partnership with Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth) through to 2027, backing place-based, community-led approaches that strengthen the fabric of rural and regional Victoria.
This work starts in neighbourhoods, on courts, in clubrooms and community halls – and it’s powered by partnerships.
The Regional Sports Assembly model is uniquely placed to make a difference – embedded in community, trusted by clubs, and connected across the state. Together, RSAs form a vital network of grassroots infrastructure, supporting over 1.4 million Victorians across 48 rural and regional LGAs, through a network of more than 8,500 community sports clubs. It’s a powerful foundation for driving local change at scale.
Sport, recreation, and play have always been about more than the game – they’re about connection, confidence, and belonging. Whether it’s a walking group in a small town, a footy club embracing change, or a local leader stepping up to remove barriers – we’re proud to stand alongside our RSA peers, working every day to create healthier, more connected communities through sport and recreation.
Systemic change takes time – and it takes trust, but together we’re building something enduring in regional Victoria.
