Fair Access Policy Communities of Practice

Regional Sport Victoria (RSV) is thrilled to be working alongside The Office for Women in Sport and Recreation (OWSR) on the Fair Access Policy Communities of Practice in 2023.

Launched by the Minister for Community Sport in 2022, Victoria’s Fair Access Policy Roadmap is an Australian-first, aiming to develop a state-wide foundation to improve the access to, and use of, community sports infrastructure for women and girls.

These CoP aims to support councils in their policy development, through discussions on progress, barriers and opportunities in the journey to Fair Access. The CoP is being run by partnering Sport Assemblies in collaboration with the Regional Sport Victoria, with a region-based approach to maximise collaboration and local relevance.

Local government staff are encouraged to select the date and location of a workshop that is most suitable to them.
