All Abilities Workforce and Sector Support Program – Supporting Regional Victoria

Leisure Networks are excited to commence work on the All Abilities Workforce and Sector Support Program (the program) with Disability Sport and Recreation under the Victorian Government All Abilities Sport Fund.

The Program will work to educate and upskill the sport and active recreation workforce and provide more opportunities for people with disability to participate on and off the field, with a focus on regional Victoria.

Under this funding, Leisure Networks will implement an Online Learning and Development Hub, which will see the co-design, development and delivery of resources, training and learning opportunities to provide guidance and expertise on best practice disability inclusion in the sport and active recreation sector.

Leisure Networks will also establish and maintain regional Place-based Networks and Funding opportunities for projects and activities that provide greater access to sport and active recreation for people with disability.

To achieve this, Leisure Networks are embarking on a multi-phase co-design process, seeking insights and input from community (people with lived experience of disability) and the sport, recreation and disability sector (managers / employers) – this is your opportunity to get involved!

You can complete the relevant online survey by clicking the link below, and read on to learn more about, and apply to be part of a consultation group that will be established to inform the co-design of the online learning and development hub and place-based networks and funding program for the life span of the project.
