Award nominations for Leisure Networks and regional volunteer Kevin McMahon at the 2022 VicHealth Promotion Awards

Regional Sport Victoria are thrilled that one of our members, Leisure Networks has recently been nominated for the ‘Building Back Better’ award at the 2022 Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth) Promotion Awards, which take place on Monday 13/2.

This was as a result of their work with the ‘Mini Movers in Schools’ program, established with an aim to further develop the physical literacy of children, which has since been a major success in many schools.

One of their regional volunteers, Kevin McMahon has also been nominated for the ‘Community Legend’ award. The current club manager at St Mary’s Sporting Club, Kevin has done amazing work over the years in numerous voluntary roles, and is also the current games record holder at St Mary’s.

Regional Sport Victoria would like to congratulate Leisure Networks and Kevin on being recognised for their work, and wish them the best of luck on Monday.
