Insights from Guided Conversations
This report provides insights into the current perspectives, challenges and issues facing regional community sport in Victoria during the height of COVID-19 restrictions.
Throughout the months of (late) April and May and June 2020, Regional Sports Assemblies (RSAs) undertook one-on-one ‘guided conversations’ with their local sporting clubs, associations, and leagues, and this data was recorded systematically across the network.
This rich data set encompasses more than 500 individual conversations and highlights the impact on grass roots, community sports clubs to date, including the immediate concerns felt by volunteers and the preliminary support required from the sector.
