Regional Sport Victoria – Community Sport Flood Recovery
Through the new ‘Community Sport Flood Recovery’ program, regional sporting clubs will be able to receive help in getting back to playing sport as quickly as possible.
With community sport being such a key pillar of regional communities in Victoria, it is important that clubs and associations can find the information they need to assist with the recovery process.
Clubs will be able to receive FREE support through our knowledgeable and supportive Regional Sports Assemblies, allowing you to get back to playing the sports that you love.
The Community Sport Flood Recovery page will be continually updated on the Regional Sport Victoria website and will be your one stop shop for information regarding the initiative.
To access support, please click this link, provide your contact details, and a member of our friendly team will be in touch to assist you.
RSV General Manager Meghan Mayman spoke about how important it is to make life easier for volunteers, particularly during difficult times like these.
“To say sport and active recreation volunteers have had a challenging time over the past 2 years is an understatement. The floods have taken a personal toll for club volunteers recovering from the impacts of flooding. We’ve structured this support to make it as easy as possible for volunteers to return to sport.” she said.
